Dr. Stephanie Bramhall

Veterinarian

Hi, my name is Dr. Stephanie Bramhall, and I am a Veterinarian at Sugar River Animal Hospital in Grantham, NH. I have always been obsessed with animals — both wildlife and pets — and my love of health and science made veterinary medicine a natural path to follow.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work you can find me experimenting in the kitchen, gardening, crafting, making music, and exploring the outdoors.

Favorite Part of My Job

Helping to improve the quality of life of animals and their carers is what drives me every day. I have special interests in internal medicine — particularly feline medicine and general preventive care — and I also love helping the ever-growing geriatric population of dogs and cats live their best lives.

Education

I earned my BSc in Animal Science/Pre-Vet from the University of New Hampshire in 2004, before heading across the pond to attend the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in Scotland, graduating in 2010.

Work History

After graduating, I began my career in a small town in Yorkshire, England — home of the famous James Herriot. In 2012, I returned to New Hampshire and have continued working in small animal hospitals ever since. I hold a Certified Cat Friendly Handling certification through the Feline Veterinary Medical Association, and I am a member of both the Feline Veterinary Medical Association and the AVMA.
