Meet Our Skilled Veterinary Technicians

Kate has an eclectic education starting with a BA in English and an MA in Literature. After several years in corporate America working for various publishing houses, she quit her job and went back to school while working nights in a 24 hr Emergency Referral Animal Hospital in Indiana.

Amber graduated in 2018 with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology from Vermont Technical College.

Jennie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2020 with a degree in veterinary technology.

Kristen is a recent graduate of the Great Bay Community College veterinary technician program.

Sydney graduated from Vermont Technical College with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2023.

Katie joined the Sugar River Animal Hospital team in July 2021. She has over twenty years of personal experience in animal care. Katie has over a decade of professional experience in caring for a wide range of animals such as rodents, birds, dogs, cats, and farm animals.

Oliva joined Sugar River Animal Hospital in September 2022 and is currently attending school at Community College of Vermont for STEM studies. Olivia has always had a love for animals and knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field.
