Veterinary Assistant
Calista joined the Sugar River Animal Hospital team to pursue her lifelong goal of working with animals and helping them feel their best. Originally from Hopkinton, NH, she has lived throughout the state and has always enjoyed being around pets.
Before joining Sugar River Animal Hospital in Grantham, NH, Calista gained experience as a pet groomer, receptionist, and animal care attendant. These roles gave her a strong foundation in animal handling, client care, and teamwork—skills she uses every day in her role as a Veterinary Assistant.
At home, Calista enjoys spending time with her Lab mix, Xion. In her free time, she likes playing Dungeons & Dragons, video games, and drawing.
Calista appreciates being part of a supportive team where she can continue learning and growing. She takes pride in helping make each visit a positive experience for both pets and their owners, ensuring every patient leaves happy and healthy.
