Kayla

Meet Kayla: 

Kayla joined the Sugar River Animal Hospital team to pursue her longtime dream of working with animals. She has always loved pets and knew she wanted to be part of a field where she could help keep them healthy and feeling their best. Before entering veterinary medicine, Kayla worked for a year as a farm hand, gaining hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals.

Born in New York and raised in California, Kayla has called New Hampshire home for the past ten years. She enjoys the slower pace and the strong sense of community found in the Grantham, NH area.

Outside of work, Kayla loves reading, writing, and playing video games. At home, she spends her time with Blue, her poodle mix, who has taught her firsthand how important patience and compassion are in animal care. She appreciates the kindness the team shows Blue—especially when she isn’t the easiest patient—which is one of the reasons Kayla is proud to be part of Sugar River Animal Hospital.

Kayla enjoys being part of such a friendly, hardworking team and hopes to contribute by providing the same level of thoughtful, attentive care to every pet who comes through the doors. Her gentle nature and love for animals make her a valued member of the Sugar River Animal Hospital team in Grantham, NH.
